I said Daddy I said is a feature length sci-fi film built around the real world statistic, that it takes a victim, on average, 7 attempts before they are able to leave an abusive relationship for good.
The film was written, edited and directed by Sebastian Karantonis it was produced by Sebastian Karantonis of SEK pictures in association with Jacob Figueroa and Bryan Biebl of Upper Hand as well as Ryan Miller.
Principle photography took place at the Salton Sea in southern California. The shoot consisted of 12 straight 12 hour days, the tireless crew and committed talent fought 100 degree heat, cramped living conditions, and one of the soggiest lake beds on the planet.
A lot of good crocs were lost down there.
